where can i get plus size wedding dresses?

Iam getting married in september and I am a plus size girl. Im a size 26 and I was going to go to davids bridal but my sister said their dresses run small so now i am worried. I dont really want to go shopping with everyone because iam afraid of not finding anything. I have lost a few pounds but i wont hit my goal before i get married. my mom is buying my dress so i know she wants to go with me. does anyone know of anyplace that has sizes up to like 32. any info will help-thanks.

Hey Girlie! I am a big girl too and let me just say DONT GO TO DAVIDS!! To make a long story short, my friend went there, tried on a size 22 but it was a little tight so she wanted to order a size 24, the store told her to order a 26, but she said no, that would be too big. They ordered her a 22 then told her it was her fault she didn’t fir because she gained too much weight!! I was so mad 4 her. Her mom called & insisted they replace it with a 24 but they said all they could get on short notice was a 26. She didn’t have enough time 2 go somewhere else o she took it. On top of that, she wanted to go somewhere else to get alterations and they said no! They said she had to do them there or they couldn’t sell her the dress, then they charged her $600 for alterations!! Crazy! OKay, wasn’t short, but I had to tell you! If you go into a bridal shop they will be able to tell you what designer has your size and will also be able to pick dresses that flatter your shape. Good Luck!!
